Call to Action Modules

You are invited to learn more about the Call to Action to prevent interpersonal violence in Contra Costa County and get involved through the following Call to Action modules.

These modules offer tools for acknowledging and addressing the factors that enable interpersonal violence to continue.

Who should enter the learning journey? Anyone who is interested in learning more about how we—community members, community organizations, and county agencies—can work together to prevent interpersonal violence!

Once you enter the learning journey, you can start a module and return later, or you can work straight through!


Where is Contra Costa County? Contra Costa is a mid-size county in Northern California with a diverse population of 1.1 million people. Like many other counties, people continue to be impacted by different forms of interpersonal violence. The county and many organizational partners recognized the need for new strategies to prevent interpersonal violence and address their root causes.
